D’CENT App, which has remained largely unchanged since its launch, will be reborn in February 2025.
Starting with the domestic Android version, the D’CENT App will be updated sequentially to include the global and iOS versions.
With a major upgrade, including the main screen (‘My Wallet’ tab), we plan to offer users an overwhelmingly new experience.
Beyond simply connecting wallets, the app is evolving into a platform for managing cryptocurrency portfolios and discovering various investment opportunities.
Let’s take a closer look at the new D’CENT App!
User-Centered ‘Bottom GNB Structure’ Update
The previous GNB (*Global Navigation Bar) of the D’CENT App was structured around various services. In this update, we have optimized it for wallet users by reflecting user behavior patterns.
The original structure [My Wallet - NFT - Insight - Discovery - Setting] has been updated to
[My Wallet - Insight - Swap - Discovery - Setting].
- New ‘Swap’ Tab
- A Swap button has been added at the center of the bottom menu, allowing users to exchange their assets for other cryptocurrencies more quickly and easily.
Detailed Changes for Each Screen
1. Three Wallet Modes
D’CENT App supports three wallet modes: Biometric Wallet (linked to Cold Wallet), Card Wallet (linked to Cold Wallet), and App Wallet (Soft Wallet).
Previously, when using both the Cold Wallet (Biometric & Card) and App Wallet, users sometimes found it confusing which wallet they were connected to.
Now, you can instantly identify which wallet is connected through the background color of the portfolio area at the top of the main screen.
2. Show/Hide Total Assets
The top section of the main screen features a portfolio area that provides an overview of the total assets held in the wallet.
Previously, the total asset value and the asset distribution chart were displayed together.
Now, we have separated the value and distribution, adding a show/hide function.
Click the eye icon to the left of the total asset value in the portfolio area to toggle visibility.
If you want to see the asset distribution chart separately from the total asset value, click the downward arrow below. This allows for a more intuitive view of asset allocation percentages, making portfolio management easier.
3. Quick Access to Send, Receive, and Swap
(Dark mode is now available! Change it via Settings → Labs → Theme → ‘Dark’)
Previously, sending or receiving coins required selecting an account in the My Wallet list before proceeding.
Now, with the newly added Send, Receive, and Swap buttons at the top of My Wallet, users can quickly perform actions without navigating through account lists.
Additionally, instead of displaying send/receive/trade history options on the right side when selecting an account, larger send/receive buttons are now directly shown under each account.
4. Easily View Crypto Asset Prices
On the My Wallet screen, users can check not only the current price of their coins but also the 24-hour price change percentage.
(*This indicates the price change over the last 24 hours, not the asset’s profitability.)
5. Integrated Management of Cryptocurrency & NFT Assets
Previously, users had to switch to a separate tab to manage their NFT assets. Now, you can manage both cryptocurrencies and NFTs in one place within the My Wallet screen.
(Supported on both Android and iOS)
6. Improved ‘Send’ Screen for Clearer Transactions
Now, when sending a coin, the symbol image, account name, and ticker name are displayed at the top, making it easier to identify which coin is being sent.
7. New ‘Market’ Menu for Real-Time Market Trends
The new Market menu allows users to check real-time cryptocurrency prices, market capitalization rankings, and price changes, helping them make informed investment decisions.
In the fast-moving world of crypto investments, users can quickly grasp which assets are gaining attention and how the market is shifting. If they decide to invest, they can also swap (exchange) their cryptocurrencies directly within the app.
