If your assets are not showing after restoring your wallet, please check that you entered the correct recovery words (mnemonic phrase) and re-added your coin accounts.
[Check That You Entered the Correct Recovery Words]
- Make sure that the 24 recovery words you entered belong to the wallet that actually held the assets.
- For Biometric Wallets, users are guided to write down the recovery words shown during initial setup on the “Recovery Sheet” card and store it securely.
- Entering different words will generate a different wallet address,
and the original assets will not appear - If someone else has access to your recovery words, they can restore your wallet on another device and access your assets
Go to the Biometric Wallet Recovery Phrase Storage Guide
[If You Used the App Wallet]
-
If you're using the App Wallet (software wallet),
you can view your recovery words in the D'CENT app:
[Settings > App Wallet Backup]
Go to the App Wallet User Guide
[Make Sure You’ve Added Back Your Coin Accounts]
-
After recovery is complete, go to:
[My Wallet] tab > Tap the [+] button to re-add the coin accounts you previously managed -
For coins like Kaia, Ethereum Classic, or RSK,
you may need to add the Legacy Account to display the assets properly
Go to How to Add a Legacy Account
[Check That the Restored Wallet Address Matches the Original]
- If the recovery was successful, the restored address should match your original one
- Example: Compare your ETH, XRP, or Kaia address with the previous address you used
