Has your wallet's recovery phrase (mnemonic code) or assets been stolen or leaked?
If so, it is unfortunate, but you need to move your remaining assets to a safe address as soon as possible.
D'CENT Wallet is a non-custodial wallet that requires users to manage their own personal confidential information (mnemonic code, PIN number, app password, fingerprint information).
If your assets have been stolen or leaked without your knowledge, the following possibilities exist.
- If the mnemonic code has been exposed: If the mnemonic code you wrote down or stored somewhere is leaked, your assets can be restored from another wallet using the mnemonic code.
- If the PIN number protecting the Biometric wallet has been leaked: If you lose your Biometric wallet and the PIN number is leaked, be careful as your signature can be made using the PIN number.
- If you are using an App wallet, you must manage your mnemonic code and app password (PIN number) carefully. Otherwise, your assets may be leaked.
-
If you have connected your wallet or performed an Approve operation through a suspicious or unverified site, your assets are not safe.
(Please refer to the User Guide for how to revoke Approve status in DApp)
Please check the importance of personal confidential information through the D'CENT Terms of Use.
D'CENT Wallet does not store your personal confidential information on the company's server because it is a non-custodial wallet that individuals manage their keys, so the company cannot recover your assets.
Please refer to the FAQ for this.
D'CENT Wallet will never ask users for their personal confidential information. Do not provide your personal confidential information to external sites, phishing or suspicious sites, or connect your wallet.
We hope that you will report the leak and theft to the nearest police station as soon as possible and receive help in finding your assets.
