If the coin you sent is supported on the D'CENT supported coin list page but doesn't show up in your wallet, it might be a token with the same name but a different contract address.
In such cases, you need to check the exact contract address of the token sent to your D'CENT Wallet by looking up the transaction (TXID) on a blockchain explorer.
In this guide, we use the example of VELO tokens based on the Optimism network. If you verified that VELO tokens are supported by D'CENT but the assets do not appear in your wallet, follow these steps.
1. Checking the contract address of the token added to the D'CENT Wallet
First, in the D'CENT mobile app, go to the "My Wallet" tab, tap on the VELO token, and press the "Receive" button to view the "Contract Address" as shown in the screenshot below.
The contract address for the VELO token supported by the D'CENT Wallet is "0x3c8b65...a11a05".
2. Checking the contract address of the token sent to the D'CENT Wallet
You can search the TXID on a blockchain explorer like Optimistic Etherscan to view the transaction.
Hover the mouse cursor over the token name in the transaction details, and the contract address will be displayed. You can also click on the "To" address to see the contract address.
From this, we can determine that the contract address for the VELO tokens sent to the D'CENT Wallet is "0x9560e827aF36c94D2Ac33a39bCE1Fe78631088Db".
3. Adding a custom token account to the D'CENT Wallet
If you find that the contract addresses of the VELO token added to the D'CENT Wallet and the VELO token sent to your wallet are different, you need to add a custom token account in the D'CENT mobile app. Go to the "My Wallet" tab, press the "(+) Add Account" button, and select "Add Custom Token". Choose the "Optimism (OPTIMISM-ERC20)" network from the list.
Select the fee account and paste the contract address you found on the blockchain into the "Smart Contract Address" field, ensuring the "Decimals" field is correctly filled.
Press the "Next" button to complete the account creation process. You will then see the custom-added VELO token account and its balance in "My Wallet".
